Stephanie Palmer, a sophomore from Spartanburg, S.C., posted two triple-doubles last week to lead the Eagles to a 2-1 record. The setter’s first triple-double came at Charlotte last Tuesday night as she posted a triple-double with 11 kills, 32 assists and 12 digs, to go along with three blocks in the narrow 3-2 loss. After posting 28 assists, five kills and two blocks in the win over NC Central on Friday night at Elon, Palmer recorded her second triple-double of the week with 35 assists, 13 digs and 10 kills in the 3-1 win over the host Elon Phoenix on Saturday night. Palmer is the only player in the Big South with multiple triple-doubles as she now has two on the year.
