Winthrop men's basketball guard Kyle Zunic has been tabbed the Big South Conference Freshman of the Week, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Zunic averaged 14.0 points, 3.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds in two games last week.  He had 11 points and four boards at Colorado State, then drained four 3-pointers and 17 points Saturday vs. Central Penn.  For the week, Zunic was 9-of-18 from the field, including 6-of-14 from long range.
