2026 Schedule
Rock Hill, S.C. – Winthrop women's soccer head coach Spencer Smith announced the 2026 schedule that features 10 home dates.

The Eagles will face a 17-game regular season slate in addition to an exhibition game.
Winthrop hosts USC Lancaster on Wednesday, Aug. 5 for the exhibition game before opening up the regular season on Thursday, Aug. 13 at Western Carolina. Other non-conference road games include Queens (Aug. 27), The Citadel (Aug. 30), and Wofford (Sept. 10).

The home opener for the Eagles will be Sunday, Aug. 18 vs. UT Chattanooga for the first of three home matches that includes VMI (Aug. 20) and Emory & Henry (Aug. 23). There will also be non-conference home matches against Mercer (Sept. 3) and South Carolina State (Sept. 13).

Big South Conference action begins Saturday, Sept. 19 at home as the Eagles take on Charleston Southern. Winthrop will also host Longwood (Sept. 30), Presbyterian College (Oct. 14) and Gardner-Webb (Oct. 17).

The first league match on the road is Saturday, Sept. 26 at Radford and the Eagles will also travel to USC Upstate (Oct. 3), UNC Asheville (Oct. 28) and High Point (Oct. 31).

The Big South Conference Championship will be held Nov. 5-15 with a new format as all games will be played on the campus of the higher seed. The first round is Nov. 5 followed by the semifinals on Nov. 10 and the championship game slated for Nov. 15.
