SERIES HISTORY VS. PRESBYTERIAN
This will be the 20th all-time meeting between the Eagles and the Blue Hose, dating back to the first matchup in 2007. The Eagles lead the series 12-4-3 with a 6-3 record at home. Wednesday will be the first home game for the Eagles against the Blue Hose since 2023, when Presbyterian escaped with a 1-0 win in Rock Hill. Winthrop won five consecutive games against Presbyterian from 2008-2012, their longest winning streak in the series. The last two matches between the Eagles and Blue Hose have resulted in two 2-2 ties, as both teams are searching for a long awaited win against the other. Both teams are also looking to bounce back after losses in their previous matches, and to earn their first conference win of the season.
