SERIES HISTORY VS. GARDNER-WEBB
The Eagles and the Runnin' Bulldogs will take the pitch for the 25th time in the all-time series on Saturday night at Eagle Field. Gardner-Webb leads the series 12-10-2, winning five of the last ten matches. Last year's match resulted in a 0-0 draw in Boiling Springs, N.C. as the Eagles tied the 2024 team with the second-most draws in a single season. The teams had previously split wins and losses from 2021-2024, with the Eagles last win coming in Rock Hill in 2023. Since 2019, neither team has won by more than two goals as the series has been tense as of late. The first matchup between the two teams came back in 2003 with the Runnin' Bulldogs escaping with a 2-1 win.
