We are excited that you are interested in the Winthrop Spirit Squad! The Winthrop Spirit Squad represents Winthrop University in a variety of capacities, and because of this, we are looking for athletes who are not only skilled, but also well-rounded individuals.

We value versatility and welcome athletes from both cheer and dance backgrounds. Our program incorporates the foundations of both styles, and we are excited to build a team that is dynamic, adaptable, and strong across multiple areas. No matter your background, we encourage you to bring your unique strengths and experiences.
