ROCK HILL, S.C. -- Winthrop University junior guard/forward
Amourie Porter captured the final Big South Player of the Week honors for the 2025-26 season, and the second of her career.
Porter put up an absurd stat line in the final regular season week, averaging 19.5 points per game, 12.0 rebounds per game, 3.50 steals per game, two double doubles all while shooting at a .654 clip. Porter opened up the week with a 16-point 11-rebound double-double in an emphatic comeback that fell just short against UNC Asheville, following that up with a 23-point 13-rebound double-double on the road against Charleston Southern to clinch the Eagles in the 5th seed on Saturday.
