- Runnin' Bulldogs opened the scoring in the 21st minute as Robbie Lyons
- Gardner-Webb took a 2-0 advantage in the 35th minute as Yves Vaage and Breno Correia connected to set up Javan Ochieng for the goal
- Gardner-Webb added a third goal in the 65th minute and capped the scoring in the 71st minute as Lyons netted his second of the match
