MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- The Winthrop's women's cross country team dominated the Pfeiffer Invitational on Friday afternoon, placing four runners in the top five to secure the team title, while the men earned a third-place finish.

Highlights
- Anna Conrad and Kayah Marques paced the Eagles on the women's side, finishing second and third in 19:28 and 19:28.3, respectively
- Olivia Kemp and Ella Collins followed in fourth and fifth, with times of 19:41.3 and 19:51.3.
- Kelsey Martin sealed the team title with an 18th-place run.
- For the men, Jason Krell led Winthrop with a ninth-place finish in 27:00, with teammates Mitchell Hill, Griffin McNeish, Miles Carrier and Aiden Carrier all placing inside the top 20.
- The victory marked the first team title of the season for the women, while the men's third place showing provided momentum as Winthrop turns its focus to the Winthrop/Adidas Invitational in two weeks
