Eagles Fall At Wofford

HOW IT HAPPENED

With one out, Benhardt's two-run RBI double down the right field line gave Winthrop a 2-0 lead in the first
Wofford tied it on a two-run homer in their half of the inning with one out
Nate Chronis's RBI groundout drove in Koby Kropf and put Winthrop back on top, 3-2 in the top of the third
Wofford scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth to go ahead 6-4
The home team then tacked on three more runs in the next inning to extend their lead to six on an RBI single by Layman to right field and Mannelly's two-run RBI double to right center field
Both plays occurred with one out
Wynn's RBI single through the left side scored Hardin and made the score 10-3 with two outs in the bottom of the sixth
Wofford wrapped up the scoring as Bak stole home with no one out and Mannelly's RBI groundout
