Fripp Island, S.C..— Constanca Mendonca's T6 finished paced the Winthrop women's golf team as it wrapped up play at the Big South Conference Championship, Tuesday afternoon.

- Emilie Marie Marceliussen-Dahl and Iciar Canalejo both finished T21
- Mendonca improved by seven strokes from her championship performance last season as a freshman

- Mendonca led the Eagles in Par 3 scoring at 2-over, tied for the third-lowest among the field
- Mendonca also led the team in Par 4 scoring
- Canalejo tied for the lowest among the field in Par 5 scoring at 2-under
- Medonca is the first Eagle to finish Top 10 at the championship since Valentine Savioz was 3rd in 2021
