Mendonca Is T9, Suter Sits T18 To Pace The Eagles

Burlington, N.C.— Winthrop women's golf is 7^th after two rounds of the Elon Invitational on Monday led by Constanca Mendonca (T9) and Avery Suter (T18).

The Eagles are sitting seventh after the first tacwo rounds, improving by five shots from the first to the second
Senior Constanca Mendonca paced the Eagles on day one and is sitting T9 at 3-over
Mendonca opened with a 74 and posted an even par round of 71
Freshman Avery Suter is T18 as she is sitting at 5-over
Freshman Lena Manssen is next at T44
As a team the Eagles are 8^th in Par 3 and Par 4 scoring while being tied for 7^th in Par 5 scoring (+1)
Manssen, Suter and Mendonca lead the team in Par 3 scoring (+2)
Mendonca is leading the team in Par 4 scoring at 1-over and tied for 4^th lowest among the field
Suter leads the Eagles in Par 5 scoring (-2) and is tied for 4^th among the field
Suter set her collegiate-low with a 2-over 73 in the second round
Manssen also posted her collegiate-low in the second round with a 3-over 74
