Rock Hill, S.C. – The 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District women's basketball teams were announced as Winthrop had three players receive recognition.
 
Sophomore guard/forward Amourie Porter, junior guard/forward Olivia Wagner and graduate guard Ciara Harris were named to the CSC Academic All-District teams. In order to be selected, honorees must have at least a cumulative 3.50 GPA and had to have participated in 90 percent of the team's contests or have started at least 66 percent of the games.
 
Porter, Wagner, and Harris are the second, third and fourth Eagles all-time to earn this prestigious award and is the first time in their careers they have taken home an award from the CSC of any kind. This is also the first time since Iva Milevoj in 2005-06 that an Eagle women's basketball player has won this honor.
 
The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
