Rock Hill, S.C. - The Winthrop Lacrosse program has completed their annual Giving Tuesday initiative with great success!
The team sought out to fundraise $20,000 in hopes of donations specifically going towards the following:
- Locker room enhancements
- Updated shot clock technology
- Spring break trips and extracurriculars
- Replacement & specialized sticks
- Performance Monitoring System
With the help of 100+ generous donors and gifts of all sizes, the program was able to surpass their goal and raise $26,199 over the course of the last month.

Hannah Potter: "I cannot say thank you enough to our loyal Eagle Lacrosse family for the support we have received. From those who shared and reposted our campaign, to the sweet handwritten notes and snail mail, to every individual donation online, THANK YOU! I am excited that we can move forward with performance monitoring systems for the team. We will utilize these gifts to better monitor heart rates, physical exertion in practice/games, when we are reaching top speeds, where we are spending the most time on the field geographically, and much more. This technology will better help us practice plan, sustain longer in games, and hopefully continue to support injury preventative measures.
