LAST TIME OUT
- A pair of wins by sophomore Johntavia Shaw at the App State Open last weekend highlighted the end of the 2024 outdoor regular-season campaign for the Eagles.
- Shaw continued her winning ways as she won the women's shot put (13.37m) and discus throw (43.69m) and added a 4th place in the hammer throw as well.
- Freshman Brianna Breau won the women's javelin throw with a toss of 33.48m.
- Junior Noah Woodberry captured the men's 3k Steeplechase with a time of 10:09.08.
- The men's 4x10 relay team of Toluwayan Agbeyomi, Kevin Brown, Ian Gresham and Michael Boucher claimed 1st with a time of 41.06.
- Brown, Jonquez Webb and Boucher went 2-3-4 in the men's 100m dash.
- Winthrop recorded 18 top six finishes in a meet that saw over 10 teams compete including Big South foes GWU, Radford and Presbyterian.
