This is the 37th meeting between the Eagles and the Blue Hose, with Winthrop leading the series, 25-16. PC won the most recent meeting by a score of 59-43 in Rock Hill on Jan. 10. The first meeting between the two teams was on Dec. 11, 1979, with Winthrop winning 80-44 at home on the way to winning the first 12 meetings.
