Ansley Lee has been tabbed the Big South Conference Softball Player of the Week, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Lee led the team in batting average on the week and also had a team-high six RBI in five games. She had a career-high three hits as she was 3-for-3 with a run and two RBI in the win over Texas State. In the game she had a two-run single in the fourth inning to double the lead to 8-4.
In the loss to Oakland, Lee drove in a career-high three runs, which included an RBI single in the 8
th for a 4-3 lead. She belted her first home run of the season with a solo shot in the win over Pennsylvania as she finished the game 1-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI.
Lee entered the week with three RBI on the season and doubled that in the five game stretch and is now third on the team this season with nine.
