Blacksburg, Va. – Winthrop men's & women's track & field concluded their 2022-23 indoor track and field season with their sixth meet at the Big South Conference Indoor Championships.

Results
On The Track (Top 8 Finishes)
- On the men's side, Toluwayan Agbeyomi set a school record in the semifinals of the 200m dash on Friday with a time of 21.75. This qualified him for the finals for this event on Saturday as well as the 60m dash with a mark of 6.85, a PR.
- On Saturday's 60m finals, he finished seventh with a time of 6.90.
- Jonquez Webb qualified for the 60m dash finals on Friday with a mark of 6.87, a PR.
- Bautista Vivanco also moved into Saturday's finals in the 400m dash with a mark of 49.21, placing eighth and in the finals finished seventh with a mark of 49.06.
- Eagles broke two school records in the 200m dash and the 4x400 medley relay.
- Daren Hinds finished fourth in the distance medley relay with a mark of 10:25.37 and fifth in the 3k run with a mark of 8:30.77, a PR.
In The Field (Top 8 Finishes)
- Kenneth Williams, Jr. finished eighth in the long jump with a leap of 6.82m and fifth in the high jump with a mark of 1.96m.
- On the women's side, To'Mara Carmichael won the weight throw with a toss of 17.69m.
- Faith Wood finished sixth in the triple jump with a mark of 10.86m, a PR.
- Johntavia Shaw finished sixth in the shot put with a mark of 13.65m.
Other Notables
- In addition, Vivanco was named to the 2022-23 Men's Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team while Libby Roush was named to the 2022-23 Women's Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team.
What's Next
The Eagles have a month off before starting their outdoor season at the 49er Classic in Charlotte, N.C. from Mar. 17-18.
