ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Winthrop baseball program travels to UNC Asheville for their final Big South series of the regular season, starting with a contest on Thursday, May 19 at 5 p.m.
Winthrop entered 2022 predicted to finish sixth in the Big South Conference, receiving one first place vote. The Eagles finished the 2021 season with a 19-27 (16-21 Big South) record.
UNC Asheville was picked ninth in the same poll. The Bulldogs ended 2021 with a 15-33 (14-26 Big South) record.
