ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Winthrop baseball program has announced their 2023 schedule. The full schedule can be found HERE.
 
The non-conference schedule will feature a home and home series with South Carolina, the Citadel, Wofford, UNC Charlotte and Queens as well as a trip to Clemson and a series at East Tennessee State. Winthrop will have home series with Liberty, Maine and Cincinnati and one game against Davidson.
 
Winthrop will open the season at home with a three-game non-conference matchup against LIU Brooklyn (February 17-19).
 
The Eagles will kick off conference play at Campbell from Mar. 17-19 and will also make road trips to USC Upstate, Charleston Southern, Radford and Longwood.
 
Winthrop will welcome Gardner-Webb, Presbyterian, UNC Asheville and High Point to the Winthrop Ballpark during the conference slate.
 
The 2023 Big South Baseball Tournament will feature the top four teams in the final conference standings. The location of the championship will be in High Point from May 25-28. The champion receives the Big South's automatic bid to the NCAA regional.
