Rock Hill, S.C.– Winthrop's Morgan Bossler earned Big South Volleyball Preseason All-Conference team honors for the second time in her career announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
Following a 9-7 overall record in 2020-21 which feature only Big South Conference play, the Eagles have been selected to finish 3rd in the Big South preseason poll.
Bossler, a fifth-year middle blocker from Van Horne, IA, appeared in 16 matches during the shortened 2020-21 season, making 10 starts. She led the team in blocks (53) and services aces (14), while boasting a team-high .347 hitting percentage, fifth best in the Big South.
Bossler was named First-Team All-Conference and All-Academic team for the 2020-21 season and previously earned Big South All-Conference Second-Team and All-Tournament team honors.
