Rock Hill, S.C. – Former Winthrop All-American Zach Seabolt has been voted to the 2010-19 Big South Conference Men's Golf All-Decade Team presented by Hercules Tires, the league office announced Thursday.

Seabolt enjoyed one of the more decorated careers in the history of the men's golf program at Winthrop. In 2015, Seabolt was Golf Coaches Association of America and Golfweek All-America selection. That season he was rated No. 26 in the nation by Golfstat and was named the Big South Conference Golfer of the Year. In 2015 Seabolt captured three tournament titles and tied for first in another. He compiled five Top 6 finishes and nine Top 10 finishes in 12 events.

As a freshman, Seabolt made an immediate impact and was voted the 2014 Big South Conference Freshman of the Year. He earned all-conference honors in 2014 and 2015 while qualifying for the NCAA Regionals in both seasons. In 2014 he tied for 20^th at the NCAA Regional and in 2015 he tied for 21^st. Seabolt tied for 2^nd at the Big South Conference Championship in back-to-back seasons (2015 & 2016). Both years he finished 7-under The Patriot at Grand Harbor.

Seabolt joins six other Winthrop golfers to have been named to a Big South Conference All-Decade Team, including current head coach Kevin Pendley. Named to the 1985-89 Big South All-Decade Team were Randy Adams and Joey Pinder. Pendley, along with Paul Tomlinson and Chris Winchip were named to the 1990-99 Big South All-Decade Team and Matt Johnson is a member of the 2000-09 Big South All-Decade Team.

The league's All-Decade Teams were first unveiled as part of the Big South's 30th Anniversary celebration in 2013-14 to recognize the student-athletes and coaches who excelled in their respective sport in each decade since the Conference's founding in 1983.

A 15-person committee of Big South Conference administrators served as the official voting panel to determine the All-Decade Team, with fan voting comprising 20 percent of the overall total.  The 2010-19 Men's Golf All-Decade Team is listed below in alphabetical order and features 10 players and one head coach.  In case of ties, additional honorees have been added.
