ROCK HILL, SC - Friday's series opener between Canisius and Winthrop (originally scheduled for a 4 p.m. start) has been moved up to a 3 p.m. first pitch. The decision was made due to cold temperatures expected in Rock Hill on Friday night.
Both games of Saturday's doubleheader and Sunday's series finale (12 p.m.) remain as scheduled. Saturday's game two will begin 45 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
Canisius enters the weekend with a 1-4 record, having lost three straight games. Winthrop is 3-0 entering the series, coming off a sweep of Maine at the Winthrop Ballpark last weekend.
