WINTHROP
The Eagles are coming off a 65-55 loss to UNC Asheville on Saturday afternoon. Winthrop and Asheville battled until the third quarter where the Eagles were held to just nine points. Despite a 20-point fourth quarter, the visitors were unable to comeback. The offensive efforts were led by freshman Myra Strickland, who bettered her career-high in points for the second consecutive game with 16, and Jah'Che Whitfield, who recorded her third double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds. The Eagles are now 10-13 on the season, just one win away from their most amount of wins since the 2014-15 season.

CAMPBELL
The Camels had their 10 game win streak snapped by Radford on Saturday, with a 48-42 loss. This is Campbell's first loss since Jan. 4, 2020 when they lost on the road to UNC Asheville. Taya Bolden led the Camels with 11 points, while Hayley Barber, the team's leading scorer averaging 9.4 a game, contributed 10 of her own. Bolden also notched a game-high seven boards. Campbell currently ranks third nationally in scoring defense by allowing just 51.0 points per game, while leading the Big South with their 10.8 scoring margin.
