- Eagles still lead the league in scoring at 80.0 ppg, but have not hit 80 points in a game since scoring 104 against UNC Asheville (69.75 ppg over last four)
- Winthrop is 6-1 on the road in league play this year while PC is 4-2 against the league at home and 6-4 overall
- Eagles also lead the Big South in threes per game (9.3), rebound margin (+7.3) and scoring margin (+9.9)
- Since the two teams last met the Eagles are 4-2 while the Blue Hose are 1-5
WINTHROP
- Head coach Pat Kelsey is in his 8th season with the Eagles (157-91)
- Kelsey ranks 5th all-time in Big South history in career wins and is now three wins away from tying Nield Gordon for 2nd all-time in program history
- The victory at Longwood gave Kelsey 90 league wins all-time as he remains 8th all-time
- Sitting at 12-2 in the league for the first time in league history, a half-game ahead of Radford at 11-2

- Hale also leads the team in scoring in league games at 14.6 ppg while Burns Jr. is averaging 14.0
- Chandler Vaudrin is second in the league at 5.8 assists per game and his average currently ranks 4th all-time in program history for a single-season
- Vaudrin is sitting in 8th all-time for total assists in a single-season, just nine out of 4th place

PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE
- Blue Hose are led by first-year Quinton Ferrell (9-17)
- Started off league play 5-2, but are 1-5 in the last six games and sitting in a tie for sixth in the standings
- Cory Hightower leads the team in scoring at 13.2 ppg overall and 14.8 ppg in league play
- Hightower only played eight minutes in the first meeting after leaving in the first half
- Chris Martin is second on the team in scoring at 10.6 ppg and 11.5 in conference play
- Martin led the team in scoring in the first meeting with Winthrop with 13 points
- Hightower has led the team in scoring the last two games and coming off 21 in the loss to Radford
FERGUSON MAKING HIS MARK
Josh Ferguson reached the 500 rebound mark at the end of the 2018-19 season and became the 58th player in Big South Conference history to reach 600 rebounds. Ferguson pulled down eight rebounds in the win over Elon to reach exactly 600 rebounds for his career. He currently ranks 5th all-time in program history and is on pace to finish 3rd all-time. Ferguson became the 26th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points and currently has 1,013 as he trails Pierre Wooten for 23
rd on the list by six points.
TRIPLE-DOUBLE FOR VAUDRIN
Chandler Vaudrin had 10 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists in the league-opening win over Longwood on Jan. 2. It was the first triple-double by a Winthrop player since
Xavier Cooks had 11 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists against Reinhardt. Vaudrin nearly averaged a triple-double over the first two games of Big South action as he posted 16 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists at Campbell. It was the second triple-double of the season in the Big South and 13
th nationally at the NCAA D1 level. For his efforts against Longwood and Campbell he was named the Big South Conference Co-Player of the Week. He is currently the active leader overall NCAA divisions for career triple-doubles (5).
HALE REACHES 1,000 CAREER POINTS
Hunter Hale surpassed 1,000 points in his collegiate career after scoring 17 points in the loss at Furman. Hale's career began at Central Michigan and this last spring Hale transferred to the Eagles from Grand Valley State to begin graduate school and arrived with 926 points in his career. This season Hale is averaging 12.6 ppg as he's started 24-of-25 games he's played this season.
