Morgan Bossler Named Big South Conference Player of the Week

Rock Hill, S.C.- Morgan Bossler has been named Big South Volleyball Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday. The junior transfer recorded a stellar statistical weekend, particularly in her debut match against Morehead State.

In a five-set comeback win (16-25, 19-25, 25-21, 25-17, 17-15) against Morehead State, the junior hammered home 14 kills with zero errors for a .538 hitting efficiency. Bossler also added two blocks, three digs, and one service ace to the stat sheet. Against Davidson, the Eagle's won their second five set (25-18, 25-22, 10-25, 15-8) match of the day thanks in part to Bossler's seven total blocks.

Bossler helped her team to their third win of the weekend (25-19, 25-16, 25-15) against North Carolina A&T and recorded her second game with zero hitting errors. She finished that match with 5 kills, a .357 hitting efficiency, and four blocks. She was named the MVP of the Cristi Curtis Invitational that was hosted by Winthrop.
