ROCK HILL, SC - Winthrop will travel up to Chapel Hill, North Carolina Tuesday evening to take on North Carolina at Boshamer Stadium for a 6 p.m. first pitch. North Carolina comes into the week ranked 14th in the latest Baseball America national poll. Tuesday's game will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra, with a live stats feed available on winthropeagles.com . 

Winthrop (27-17, 14-7 Big South) is coming off winning two of three games against Presbyterian at the PC Baseball Complex in Clinton, SC. The Eagles won the series opener 5-3 behind a solid start from Zach Peek and Grant English's fourth home run of the season and the middle game 6-4 behind Nate Pawelczyk's second complete game of the season before losing 4-1 in the series finale. 

North Carolina (34-12, 15-9 ACC) is coming off a week off for final exams. Prior to the seven day break, the Tar Heels won two of three against Virginia the weekend of April 26-28 and then defeated Liberty at Boshamer Stadium on April 30.
