Rain Postpones Series Opener vs. Penn, Weekend Schedule Adjusted

ROCK HILL, SC - Winthrop baseball's Friday series opener against Penn has been postponed due to rain.

Due to more anticipated rain Saturday afternoon, the two teams will now play a single game on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. A doubleheader has been scheduled for Sunday, with game one beginning at 11 a.m. Due to time restrictions caused by Penn's travel schedule, game two of the doubleheader will be a seven inning contest.
