PINK NIGHT
Wednesday's game vs. The Citadel is a Pink Night game for breast cancer awareness in partnership with Winthrop's chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. Zetas will be at the Ballpark passing out pink ribbons and collecting donations to benefit the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation, The American Cancer Society and Bright Pink. The ZTA Foundation is the direct philanthropy while the American Cancer Society and Bright Pink are two of their partners that fans can donate directly to. Also, Winthrop Athletics will be donating 20% of the night's ticket sales to the ZTA Foundation.
SERIES HISTORY
Winthrop and UNC Greenboro have met 17 times in program history with the Eagles holding a 10-7 series edge. Winthrop and The Citadel are frequent opponents, having met 52 times in program history with an almost-even 24-27 record in the Bulldogs' favor.

Zach Peek was named Big South Starting Pitcher of the Week after a dominant outing against Kent State that saw him take a no-hitter into the seventh inning and allow only two hits on the day. Peek recorded a new career-high 12 strikeouts in 8.0 innings.

Mitch Spires and junior
Hunter Lipscomb each have a team-high 11 hits. Lipscomb is also third on the squad with a .365 on-base-percentage and leads the squad with four multi-hit games.
-Junior
Cale Gibson had a four-RBI night in game one against Kent State, going 3-for-4 at the plate including a two-run homer and an RBI double.
-Senior
Tyler Halstead batted 6-for-12 in the Kent State series with three RBI and his first triple of the season. Halstead is second on the squad with three multi-hit games and two multiple-RBI games.
