Winthrop Baseball Heads to No. 14 Clemson Tuesday

Second ranked team the Eagles will face this season.

CLEMSON, S.C. - Winthrop baseball heads back on the road to take on in-state foe No. 14 Clemson Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

-Junior outfielder Matthew Mulkey currently owns a six-game hitting streak to lead the team. He belted two homers against Maryland Eastern Shore, nearly matching his 2017 total of three home runs. Mulkey also leads the Eagles in runs scored (7), hits (7) and RBI (6).
-Fellow outfielders Scout McFalls and Hunter Lipscomb are each tied with Mulkey for first on the team with seven hits.
