Courtney Hagaman recorded her fifth conference game with double-digit scoring Saturday against UNC Asheville as she tied for the team lead in scoring with Ronata Rogers with 13 points.  Winthrop shot 35 percent Saturday but couldn't contain the Bulldogs who shot 47 percent from the field.
 
SCOUTING PRESBYTERIAN
Presbyterian enters Tuesday's clash with a 5-12 overall record and a 2-4 conference mark.  The Blue Hose had won two Big South contests in a row over Campbell and Gardner-Webb at home before falling at Radford on Saturday.
 
Courtney Storey has led the Blue Hose offensively this season, averaging 15.3 points per game.  She is followed by Kacie Hall with 10.4 points per contest.  Presbyterian has struggled on the boards this year, pulling down only 25.6 rebounds per game while its opponents have grabbed 38.3 rebounds per contest.
 
ALL-TIME AGAINST PRESBYTERIAN
Winthrop leads the all-time series against Presbyterian 20-7 but the Blue Hose have won the last four meetings over the Eagles.  Winthrop's last victory came on the road on February 28, 2015, 60-53.
 
WHAT'S UP NEXT
Winthrop returns home for its next two contests starting Saturday for a 5 p.m. matchup against the Gardner-Webb Bulldogs.  Saturday's contest will be in conjunction with a men's game slated for 2 p.m.

Every Thursday at The Roasting Company throughout the basketball season will be the Winthrop Sports Show at ROCO hosted by the voices of the Winthrop Eagles Dave Friedman and Mike Pacheco. The two will sit down weekly with head coaches Pat Kelsey and Lynette Woodard as well as other selected guests throughout the season.
