WHAT'S HAPPENING AT EAGLE FIELD ON SATURDAY
There is tripleheader action at Eagle Field on Saturday. The day will begin with the women's soccer game vs. Presbyterian College at 1 p.m. Followed by a charity kickball game at 4 p.m. and the day will wrap-up as the men's soccer team hosts Campbell at 7 p.m. The entire day's admission will be free as donations are being asked for upon entering the gates. The charity kickball game will feature the Rock Hill Fire Department against the Rock Hill Police Department in a game between Guns-N-Hoses. All proceeds from the day will go to Carolinas Kickin' It Challenge for the fight against breast cancer. It's also Garnet & Gold day so don't forget to sport your best Winthrop gear for the games!!!
SERIES HISTORY VERSUS CAMPBELL
This will be the 24
th meeting between Winthrop and Campbell. It is a series that has been dominated by the Camels over the years with an 18-5 lead in the series. Winthrop has won three of the last four meetings, but in last year's matchup the Eagles fell 4-1 in Buies Creek.
A GLANCE AT WINTHROP
Winthrop is back on track after earning a conference road win at Longwood last weekend. The Eagles had several scoring chances throughout the contest, but it took overtime for either team to break through as
Charlie Ramirez scored his first collegiate goal for the win. The Eagles had been shut out the previous two games. In the Big South Conference, Winthrop ranks 4
th in scoring (1.30 per game) and 7
th in goals allowed per game (1.50).
Kenneth Perkinson earned his third shutout of the season and is currently holding a 1.44 goals against average and is third in the league in save percentage (.773).
Max Hasenstab is still among the scoring leaders in the Big South despite missing a game and a half of action. He's 6
th in points per game and total goals.

th in total goals and 10
th in points.
A GLANCE AT CAMPBELL
Campbell has won two straight and coming off a league road win at High Point on Wednesday. Since dropping their conference opener to Radford, the Camels have defeated Liberty 2-1 and High Point 1-0. The offense is sixth in the Big South (1.09 goals per game) and defensively allowing 1.14 goals per game (ranked 4
th). J.J. Donnelly leads the team with 12 points as he's scored six goals. Gabe Parrish is second on the team in points with five (all assists). Matthew Mozynski has played every second in goal this season and has a 1.14 goals against average and has recorded four shutouts (Jacksonville, Central Arkansas, Howard and High Point).
HASENSTAB ONE OF NATION'S TOP SCORING THREATS

Max Hasenstab has had a decorated career and enters the 2017 season among some of the NCAA Division I active scoring leaders. Hasenstab entered the season third among active players with 1.67 points per game and currently sits in 2
nd at 1.65 per game. He remains ahead of Maryland's Gordon Wild for the most goals for an active player with 40. He began the year 3rd in goals per game at .71 and currently sits 3
rd at .70 goals per game. Through nine games played he's 30
th nationally in goals per game and 32
nd in points per game. He is a three-time All-Big South selection and the 2015 Big South Conference Tournament MVP. He has 94 career points, which ranks 1st among active players and is 7th all-time in Winthrop history.
HASENSTAB TABBED BIG SOUTH ATTACKING PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR A SECOND TIME
Max Hasenstab was named the Big South Attacking Player of the Week for a second time this season (Sept. 18) after he helped the team to a 1-1 record the week before with two goals and two assists. He earned his first one of the season with his hat trick in the win over Wofford. It was his third career hat trick and the third time in his career to capture the honor.
WHAT'S AHEAD
Winthrop will be back on the road when it heads up I-85 to take on High Point on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. The game will be part of a doubleheader with the Winthrop's women's soccer team that is also at High Point that day at 4 p.m.
BIG SOUTH PRESEASON POLL
Winthrop was picked fifth in the Big South Preseason Poll as it was tied with Campbell with 45 votes. The Eagles captured their final two league games of 2016, but did not advance to the conference tournament. Winthrop and Campbell were just seven votes behind Longwood in 4
th. The Highlanders received 7-of-9 first-place votes while High Point was picked second and Liberty third.
