Game Recap
- Eagles struck in the third minute for the early lead
- Owen Deer connected with Teo Jelaca off a throw-in as Jelaca settled and made a short touch to Juma Baden running by that set Baden heading toward goal
- Baden received the ball and dribbled right at the last defender toward goal as he pushed the ball to his left foot and struck a quick shot into the lower left corner
- Wofford equalized before the half as the game went to the half at 1-1
- The Terriers took a long throw into the box that was cleared out wide as Fabian Menendez collected the ball and served it back post as Adam Celik ran on and headed into the net
- Eagles nearly grabbed the lead in the 77th minute as they won the ball in the box and Alfie Humphrey was set up with a look at goal inside the box but the shot was just off a Wofford defender and wide of the post for a corner
- Wofford grabbed the lead in the 83rd minute as Sam Case dribbled toward the middle of the field and slipped a pass to Bear Rice in the box as he fired a shot past Euan Brindley into the lower left corner

- Euan Brindley finished with a season-high six saves
- Baden's goal gives him two for the season, which is tied for the team lead
- This is the third straight one-goal game in the series between Winthrop and Wofford, fifth in the last seven meetings
