Winthrop Travels to Face Stetson in Three Game Weekend Series

ROCK HILL, SC—The Winthrop baseball squad will continue their road stretch when they travel to face Stetson University in a three game weekend series.  Game 1 is scheduled for Friday, Mar. 18 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Melching Field in DeLand, Florida.

LAST GAME
The Eagles enter the game coming off of a 15-4 victory over NC A&T.  Winthrop tallied a season high 18 hits in this win.  Mitch Spires went 3 for 5, Roger Gonzalez was 3 for 3 with a three run homer, Mark Lowrie was 3 for 4 with 4 RBIs, and Babe Thomas was 2 for 4 also with 4 RBIs.
