ROCK HILL, SC- The Winthrop baseball team will have a three game conference series against Presbyterian College this weekend in Clinton, SC. The games are set for Friday at 3:00 p.m., Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
The Eagles (17-19, 8-4 Big South) currently sit atop the Big South South Division rankings. Winthrop's pitchers have combined to have the second lowest earned run average in the conference (3.09). Redshirt junior T.J. Olesczuk leads the conference and 13
th in the nation in individual batting average (.414) with 41 hits and 19 RBIs.
Michael Patrick has recently proved to be an effective offensive threat for the Eagles, scoring the go ahead run and a two RBI single in Winthrop's 5-2 win over Charlotte.
Presbyterian (10-22-1, 3-9 Big South) are trying to break a 13 game losing streak. The Blue Hose's offense is led by two Rock Hill natives, Jacob Midkiff and Brad Zebedis. Both are hitting above .300, .330 and .325 respectively, with a combined 31 RBIs. Junior Cam McRae has added 19 more RBIs and leads the conference in home runs with four.

th season at the helm of his alma mater where he has earned an overall record of 177-349-1.
