Box Score ROCK HILL, SC- Despite scoring the tying run in the seventh inning, Winthrop fell to Wofford College 2-1 on Wednesday night.
The Eagles are now 6-6 on the year, while the Terriers have now extended their winning streak to three games and are 8-5 this season.

Travis Shelley took the loss for the Eagles, falling to 0-1 on the year, after coming in to relieve starter
Zach Sightler and giving up one run and one hit in one inning. RHP Will Stillman earned the win for the Terriers and gave up one run and a hit.
After five scoreless innings, Rock Hill native Seth Neely opened the scoring for Wofford when he came home on a bases loaded fielder's choice. Winthrop answered right back in the top of the seventh, with
TJ Olesczuk scored his second run of the year. Olesczuk hit a double, stole third and came home on a wild pitch from Stillman.
Wofford scored the game winner in the bottom of the seventh inning with two outs. DH Alex Paradowski singled, stole second and third and was brought home when James Plaisted reached on a throwing error from
Kyle Edwards.
The Eagles head to Nashville this weekend for a weekend series against Vanderbilt starting Friday night at 5:00 pm.
