BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. -- The Winthrop University baseball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Gardner-Webb University on Friday night at John Henry Moss Stadium.
This loss snapped Winthrop's five-game winning streak against GWU. Despite managing five hits and three walks, the Eagles were unable to plate a run.
