(Jayco is a freshman midfielder on the men's soccer team. In his first season he made 15 appearances with 12 starts and was the second leading scorer)
 

1. How did you end up at Winthrop and what attracted you the most in making your decision? 
    I came to Winthrop because of the soccer experience, also to just better myself and grow. What attached me to come to Winthrop was just my second family and that's the guys on the team, coaches, and friends. 

2. Where do you draw your motivation from when training and competing or just life in general? 
    I just always make sure I pray before I go out and compete, and my motto is don't let another man outwork you!

3. What is the first APP you're clicking on when you unlock your phone?
    TikTok or Snapchat.

4. Whenever you're done playing soccer, what career path do you want to take? What profession interests you the most?
     I want to be a professional soccer player, and continue to get better at doing the sport I love. 

5. What is your favorite thing to do when not competing or studying? 
     Playing Fortnite.

6. Xbox or Playstation? Christmas or Thanksgiving? Messi or Renaldo? Breakfast or dinner?
     PlayStation, Christmas, Messi, and breakfast! 

7. What is the greatest experience of your soccer journey?
     Scoring my first collegiate goal. 

8. Do you have a favorite professional soccer club? If so, who and why?
    Barcelona, because that's the team I grew up watching in my household.

9. If you could choose anywhere in the world to live and work, where would that be and why?
     Switzerland, because they have a strong economy and because I have never been. 

10. What is a word or a phrase you use way too much?
     It's all good!
