Game Recap
- USC Upstate struck early as Oscar Kelly played a square ball to Oskar Kaufmann in front of an open frame as he placed a shot into the net
- Eagles tried to answer in the 28th minute but Bruno Riveron Sagrero's shot was saved by Jarrett Wuerslin
- In the 60th minute Ethan Marks was free in the 18 as he ripped a shot on frame from an angle that was saved as the rebound came out to Ryan Armijo near the edge of the 18 but his shot was high of the frame
- Spartans grabbed a two goal lead in the 66th minute as Vitalis Takawira Jr. took a pass and then beat a Winthrop defender off the dribble as he fired a shot from near the top of the box into the lower left corner
- Spartans added a goal late as the Eagles pressed to create opportunities as Caedon Reynolds struck a shot off a cross that hit the post and came right back to him as he tapped the ball into the net for the goal

- Upstate had a 20-13 advantage in shots and 11-3 in shots on goal
- Winthrop generated six corners to five for Upstate
