Game Recap
- Mocs had the first good scoring opportunity in the 24th minute as a ball served in front of goal was sent wide right of the post off the foot of Caroline Richvalsky
- Eagles first scoring opportunity came in the 28th minute as a ball was cleared by the Mocs defense just outside the 18
- Evyn Schokora controlled the clear and fired a shot toward frame that just missed to the left
- Mocs jumped out to the lead in the 34th minute as Paige Thomas out paced the Eagle defense down the left side and placed a shot from just outside the box into the right corner
- Mocs took a two goal advantage as Richvalsky found room just inside the box as she fired a shot into the left corner
- In the 49th minute the Mocs were looking to add to the lead but Clarissa Salinas' header on frame was denied by Sofia Iori with a diving save
- UTC found the net in the 62nd minute as Zoey Mize headed home a cross from E.G. Dillard
- Mocs found one more in the 86th minute as Salinas slipped a pass into the box to Ayden Wood and she slotted a shot into the lower left corner

Eagles are home for back-to-back games starting with a matchup vs. The Citadel on Thursday, Aug. 21 at 4 p.m. The game is part of a doubleheader with the men's soccer team who faces off against Coastal Carolina at 7:30 p.m.
