Rock Hill, S.C. -- Three Winthrop women's golfers were named 2024-25 Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars.

It is the 20^th straight year the Eagles have had at least one golfer earn the honor and it's the 13^th straight year with three or more selections. Winthrop has now had 64 scholars since the 2004-05 season. For the second straight year, Emilie Marie Marceliussen-Dahl, Constanca Mendonca and Ida Hansen were selected. It is the fourth straight year for Marceliussen-Dahl and second straight for Mendonca and Hansen.
 
To be nominated for WGCA All-American Scholar awards, student-athletes much have an overall GPA of 3.50 or higher for their entire collegiate career and have compiled 50 percent of the teams competitions for the school year to be nominated. This year there were a total of 1,499 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor out of 403 programs.
