Josh Skowronski hit an inside-the-park home run as Winthrop fell in the series finale at Radford Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Winthrop took a 3-0 lead entering the bottom of the first with the highlight being E. Wilson's RBI single to center field with two outs to cap off the inning
- Nace's RBI single up the middle drove in Perez with one out to get the Highlanders on the board in their half of the first
- Eagles increased their lead to four in the second on Chronis's two-run RBI single to left field with one out
- Ward's sac fly in the bottom of the third to center field made it a three-run game, 5-2
- In the top of the sixth, Skowronski had a two-run, inside the park home run to increase Winthrop's margin to five
- After a Radford tally in the sixth, the visiting Eagles again made it a five-run lead as Natividad's RBI groundout drove in E. Wilson in the top of the seventh
- Keen's RBI single to right field and Nace's sac fly to left field cut it to three
- The Eagles then responded in a big way by scoring four runs in the top of the eighth and making the score 11-5
- Crowley's single through the right side with two outs drove in two of the runs
- But Radford began their comeback on Self's two-run homer to left center field with one out in the bottom of the eighth
- The Highlanders completed their rally in the next inning with five runs, with Grantham's double to left center field scoring three runs to give the home team the walk-off, come-from-behind victory
