th all-time victory by defeating Davidson at home Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Davidson led first to start the game, going up 1-0 on a sac fly to left field in the top of the first
- Winthrop took their first lead of the contest in their half of the inning on Chronis's two-run RBI double down the left field line with two outs
- Davidson tied things up on Rice's RBI bunt single to third base with one out in the top of the second
- The Eagles broke the tie in the bottom of the inning on Hernandez's sac fly to center field, bringing in Crowley on the play
- Reeves homered to right field to knot the score at 3-3 in the top of the third
- Eagles then took the lead for good in the bottom of the fourth as Hernandez's RBI single to right field scored Crowley with one out
- The Wildcats put guys on second and third but a groundout ended the threat in the top of the fifth
- Winthrop put Davidson away in the bottom of the seventh as Crowley's RBI single to right field with one out drove in two runs and Gabe Natividad's RBI single to right field three plays later scored Crowley to extend the lead to four at 7-3 and wrap up the scoring for the night
