Davidson, N.C. – Winthrop fell at Davidson Wednesday night.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Davidson scored first nearly two minutes into the game
• Tori Iannotti knotted the score with 4:43 left in the first quarter
• The Wildcats broke the tie with two minutes to go and lead by the same score at the end of the frame
• Davidson went up 6-1 at the 9:40 mark of the second quarter
• Scarlet Cifarelli cut it to four a few seconds later
• Cifarelli again scored just before the half to make it a three-point deficit going into the break
• The Wildcats outscored the Eagles 10-1 in the second half

• Eagles are now 102-109 all-time as a program
• Iannotti had a hat trick
• Winthrop had 10 saves to Davidson's four and won 14 draw controls to Davidson's 10
