  • Cole Yearsley's sac fly to left field brought in Colin Crowley
  • Harrison's Wilson's double down the left field line got Jaylen Hernandez
  • Then Ethan Wilson's ground out drove home Koby Kropf and capped off the fast start for the Eagles
  • Eagles kept the game scoreless going into the bottom of the second on a spectacular throw by E. Wilson as Harry Painte was tagged out at home trying to score from second base
  • Winthrop made the score 5-0 in their half of the second on Crowley's RBI double to left field and Hernandez's RBI single down the left field line
  • Frankie Ferrentino homered to left field with two outs in the top of the third to get Merrimack on the board
  • Eagles put guys on second and third in the third but Gabe Natividad struck out to end the threat
  • The visitors got one back in the top of the fourth on Chris Goode's RBI single to center field with two outs, driving in Harry Painter and making the score 5-2
  • In the home half of the sixth, Hernandez doubled down the right field line, driving in Crowley and upping the margin to four
  • The Warriors again cut the lead to three in the seventh after Christian Scanlon's RBI double with one out, bringing home Jayden Hamilton
  • Winthrop led 8-3 at the end of the seventh after Nate Chronis's RBI double down the left field line and Crowley's fielder's choice to score Chronis
