Rock Hill, S.C. – Logan Duncomb's 23 points paced Winthrop in a 101-55 victory over Bob Jones, Saturday night in men's basketball non-conference action.

FIRST HALF
- Kody Clouet got the Eagles on the board first as Isaiah Wilson pushed the ball in transition and found Clouet on the left wing who splashed in a three
- It was a 10-4 lead for the Eagles after Bryson Felder knocked down a floater for Bob Jones at the 16:40 mark
- From there the Eagles went on a 23-0 run that started with a drive and scored by Clouet followed by a corner three from Tommy Kamarad
- Logan Duncomb scored on back-to-back possessions for a 23-4 lead and then back-to-back from threes from Daylen Berry and Pharrell Boyogueno to lead 29-4 with 10:03 left in the half
- During the run the Eagles held the Bruins scoreless for a period of just over seven and a half minutes
- Eagles led by as much as 35 points (5:14 mark) when Kamarad converted two free throws
- A bucket at the rim by Seifeldin Hendawy with 1.4 seconds left in the half gave the Eagles a 47-25 lead at the break
SECOND HALF
- Eagles and Bruins traded baskets to open the second half as Duncomb scored inside and Shad Vander Hart scored off a drive and dunk
- Eagles pushed their lead back to 30 at the 15:42 mark behind a 7-0 run highlighted by a Josh Meo corner three and a tip-in by Nnamoko
- Another 7-0 run by Winthrop pushed the lead to 35 points, capped off by a wing three from Kareem Rozier with 13:16 remaining
- Winthrop used a 9-0 run to extend the lead to 42 at the 10:55 mark as Kamarad kickstarted it with a triple and Duncomb capped it off with a baseline drive and finishing with a dunk
- Eagles grew the lead to over 50 with a 9-0 run with a reverse layup by Nnamoko to lead 90-40
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Winthrop shot 52 percent from the field while holding Bob Jones to 35 percent from the floor
- Eagles hit 10 threes for the 9th time this season (10-for-33)
- Winthrop dominated the glass 51-26 as it had 18 offensive boards that led to 25 second chance points
- Eagles also dominated the paint, 48-24 and finished with 33 points off turnovers
- Duncomb recorded a double-double as he was 11-for-11 from the field and led the team with 23 points and 10 rebounds
- Kamarad matched his best as an Eagle with 19 points and was joined in double-figures by Hendawy (12) and Tai Hamilton (10)
NOTABLES
- The double-double for Duncomb was the third of his career and the 23 points marked his third 20-point game
- Duncomb tied a program single-game record for field goal percentage (1.000)
- His 11-for-11 performance is the most field goals made by an Eagle in a perfect field goal percentage in a game as the other three players were 10-for-10
- Eagles hit the century mark for the fourth time this season and the fourth time in five home games
- This was the 66th consecutive win over a Non-D1 opponent
