ROCK HILL, S.C. -- The Winthrop University women's basketball team found its rhythm on both ends of the floor, forcing 31 turnovers to defeat Newberry, 74-37, on Saturday afternoon inside the Winthrop Coliseum.

Fourth Quarter
- The Eagles closed strong behind a deep bench effort.
- Persais Williams tipped in her own miss in the final seconds, capping a 21-point quarter for Winthrop.
- The defense limited Newberry to just six points in the final 10 minutes to seal the 74-37 win
