  • Reece Rhoads helped close the gap to 23-21, but Yates finished the frame, 25-21.

Set 2

  • Alyah Cadavid's ace and kills from Jolley and Giselle Little built an early cushion to 6-2 that Winthrop never surrendered.
  • Rachel McCollum dropped a service ace to answer Bednarek's serving burst, 12–11, and restore separation.
  • Cadavid's serve produced four straight points, as Teagan Sychterz chipped in up the middle as it stretched to 21-14.
  • Rhoads got a feed from Sophia Matthews, ending it 25-17, and seeing Winthrop hit .517 in the set.

Set 3

  • A clean start and two early Rhoads kills helped Winthrop to 5-0, as CSU's brief push was cut off by a Jolley and Sychterz block for 9-6.
  • Glover went to work on the right side, pairing with McCollum for points that pushed it to 15-9.
