Mason Kucia was named the Big South Conference Men's Golfer of the Week while teammate
Dylan Park was tabbed the Big South Conference Freshman of the Week, announced by the league office Thursday afternoon.
Kucia tied for 9
th at the Furman Intercollegiate with a 54-hole total of 1-over. It was Kucia's third event of the fall as he posted a collegiate-low 214 (+1). He tied for first among the field in Par 3 scoring (-2).
Park finished T13 at the Furman Intercollegiate, which is his third event finishing 13
th or better. Par was one stroke behind Kucia as he battled the tough weather conditions to post a final round 73 to get into the Top 15. He was the third-lowest in the field for Par 4 scoring (-2).
This was Kucia's first Big South weekly honor and the first Big South Golfer of the Week recognition for an Eagle since
Logan Lutz on Mar. 20, 2025.
Park earns his third freshman of the week honor, becoming the first Eagle to ever garner the award three times.
