Rock Hill, S.C. – For the second time this season, Winthrop men's golfer
Dylan Park has been tabbed the Big South Conference Freshman Golfer of the Week, announced by the league office Thursday afternoon.
The Eagles competed at the Bash in the Boro earlier in the week as Park finished 10
th to lead the team. Park finished 9-under in his final 36 holes, which included his collegiate-low 67 (-5) in the second round. He topped his 54-hole collegiate-low by two strokes by finishing the entire event 5-under par.
It is the third season in a row the Eagles have had a freshman earn the weekly honor twice. Since the award was created in the 2013-14 season, the Eagles have never had a freshman earn the honor more than twice.
